I wonder if the fish is caught if they can be physically removed.

Could be, but I wouldn’t try it myself without using an anesthetic. Then, there can be eggs in the substrate that can lead to reinfection.

I have a general question if anyone can help. When setup the tank I sed 35 pounds of live rock shipped in water for the biodiversity. When I put the tank through hypo that killed off whatever was on the rock and now they look like the rest of the rock. Would my tank still have some of the benefits of using live rock? Could the bacteria that's in it that took a hit from hypo gone dormant and come back at normal salinity?

Yes but will take time. Hypo best done in quarantine tank and not display tank

Yes I learned that the hard way when ammonia when ammonia started going up .
