Advancing Marine Aquarium Fisheries Management in Indonesia

[Aquarium Fisheries]

Last month, the Coral Reef Aquarium Fisheries Campaign participated in a symposium to advance the sustainable development of the marine aquarium fish trade in Indonesia. Our partners at LINI Foundation gathered ~70 members of the marine aquarium fishery and trade from throughout the Indo-Pacific nation, including the nation's Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and INAFISH-Indonesia's marine aquarium fish exporters association. This is the first time these stakeholders have convened on the topic since 2016. We hope this jumpstarts a sustained collaboration to mold the country into a model fishery for the marine aquarium trade. Learn more here: https://zcu.io/LRG2
