I used to have a bookmark I got from here that had calculators mixing for a bunch of common additives - calcium, magnesium, alk but I reinstalled the computer without saving it and now need to mix up a new Alk batch…

I’ve searched but haven’t found one, and for various convenience reasons I ant to mix up to a different dose than the standard mixes in Randy’s formula.

Does anyone have a link to calculators for this?

Thank you.

Math question:

Per the calculator for a nominal 100g volume if I want to raise alk by 1 I need to add 11.3grams of baking soda.

Am I right in thinking that if I add that 11.3g to 100ml RODI then if I want to raise alk by 0.5 I would add 50ml?

/trying to make sure my math is right for easy dosing calculations. Basically set 100ml mix = 1 alk in tank, so if I want to add, for example, 0.75alk I use 75ml

Yes, with the very minor correction that the total volume of the first mix is not likely exactly 100 mL but a bit more, so half that is a bit more than 50 mL.
