I’m running triton core 7 flex as a 2 part and have been pretty consistently keeping my alk around 8-8.1. My trouble has been my pH that despite having a CO2 scrubber, my pH struggles to stay above 7.9. I bought a CO2 meter and my levels inside are high. Unfortunately opening a window or running an outside line aren’t practical solutions for my tank location. My growth in the tank hasn’t been great despite good lights and tons of flow.
I have a Kalk stirrer that I could setup on the tank and raise my Alk to 8.5 or 9. Hopefully this gets my pH up and the growth going better. Is this a bad idea? I don’t want to dose more triton since it has other elements in it outside of the basic 2 part.
