Adding another fish

Today is day 16 of my tank, the the cycle was completed on day 13. added fish on Friday (two clowns) can I add a pajama cardinal tomorrow?

While you can, go easy and spread out at least 7-10 days apart. Reason is the two fish increased bioload (feces, feeding, etc) and you want to assure any increase in levels have returned to safe limits

take it from a recent fish murderer due to being impatient, let the tank settle before adding another fishie. you have to let the biological filter grow with new fish. I was way to impatient with adding fish and killed off 3 damsels, 3 firefish and almost killed my clown when I started. Now i wait two to three weeks between adding new stock be it fish, snails, my newly acquired Urchin or what have you.

even with doing water changes you are just pulling SOME of the stuff out of the water. mostly just diluting it a little. But the beneficial bacteria in the rock and sand and such has to grow larger to accommodate for the more animals pooping and the higher load of food your putting in for the fish.

will live rock throw off my bio load? im getting some in on 8/19
