How are you guys taking such amazing photos?? I have a canon rebel but I can't get shots like you guys!

I think shooting top down with a tube is your best bet. Then knowing how to edit photos in PS and Lightroom is more than half the battle. I'm nowhere near as experienced as some of the others on here though.

Love the iridescent teal color coming in. Those gold polyps are awesome. How is this comparing to the ARC Fireworks now?

For me arc fireworks isn’t much to look at.

Well, certainly doesn't have the same level of colors as that space laser frag, but that's still a really nice colony you have there;)
It's obviously the same species and variety of coral though. Do you have them growing side by side? This is where genetics plays a role it seems. The space laser seems to have the potential for more vibrant colors

No not side by side. I did cut a frag of the fireworks a week ago and put it in the same tank to see if I can get more out of it. Time will tell.

Is it like a sunglass bright purple???

Mine isn’t that big still a frag like size but it is bright
No, it's got some coloring up to do to reach bubba-level coloration;) Plus, mine will be grown under Orphek's, which I'm still trying to figure out the best settings for.
