I'd thought id share some close ups of acropora white bugs and see if anyone can identify the species.

How I got them.
I normally bayer dip all my new corals but one day I was in a rush and got a little lazy, I did a quick potassium chloride dip, didn't see any flatworms, cut the plugs off and threw them frags in my 40gal tank (now my qt tank lol). About a month later I noticed a large loss in polyp extension and few of my across tissue starting to thin and eventually STN. I troubleshooted everything from flow to an electrical short but couldn't figure out what was going on. Then the bugs made their way to a frag real close to the front glass, I could finally see them crawling on the coral tissue, and that frag was not doing well, I tried reefs.com recommended intecptor protocol but it didn't faze them. so I dipped the coral in brightwell KoralMD which dislodged the pests but killed any surviving polyp.

I think my next step is to do a double dose of interceptor but am open to recommendations.

For reference to the eye the bugs look like little white copepods crawling on the corals.

I know them as white bugs and can be knocked down with dip
You must repeat as eggs will be likely present creating new ones
Dip will not kill eggs
If you find eggs- you can scrape them off

Aefw lay eggs on dead skeleton and plugs where do white bugs lay eggs, I've had them on incoming frags before, I've never seen eggs.
