Is the bottom 2 full sheets of glass or 1 full, with a second brace layer at the edges? I think that is what I see, just checking to see how they are making things over there!

Your lights are really close to the water surface, you must be crushing the parr at the bottom of the display?

(Your sump is too small :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: ) Actually sounds perfect, or very close to it. Do you have live rock and/or other biological media / filtration in the sump, besides the sponge?

Thanks for posting. I have to get my own tank back on track, you motivate me.

Hi there, yes 2 panes of glass glued together with a special foil. Kind of like safety glass. + the brace on the edges. Even if both panes would break it would still hold water.

Lights are 400W mh 8 inch from water. Iam getting 500~ PAR near the bottom. 700-900 Par in the top half.
“Sump” is the whole grow out system 550 gallons.
Yes it has a lot of liverock, corals, fish.
Running activated carbon atm.
