How do you bring the PH of the saltwater up to 8.3? Is it worth the effort? I was using Seachem Reef Buffer to raise the PH of my tank water, but I recently discovered that the amount I was using was bringing my KH up to about 16 degrees (I am using Instant Ocean, so it should be closer to 10) and that my calcium was about 360 ppm (I am assuming as a result of the excess KH...I heard that Instant Ocean is typically closer to 400 ppm calcium and there are no corals or other livestock in my setup yet that would be bringing it down). Without the Reef Buffer the PH is about 8. Thanks :)

My pH sits at 8ish +/- 0.1
I don't stress at all about it.

Tried different solutions (CO2 scrubber, open windows and doors, etc..)
What really worked for me is Kalkwasser. Dosing 500ml spread out through the day (via Dos) and I am now at 8.14 starting from 7.8. Monitoring Alk to make sure I dont go beyond 9.5 where I stop dosing and let Alk drop back to 8.5 before resuming.
