Acclimating Coral directly from Indonesia

Wondering proper way to acclimate Indonesian Coral directly from Indonesia they have different climate and was told there temps are 68 degrees Fahrenheit, which would be 20°C

Most of us have plenty of Indo corals, specifically torches. Acclimation should be the same as any coral, Float the bag in the tank to temp acclimate. Go through your dip protocol and quarantine if you do that for corals. If no quarantine then after dip and inspection, add to tank.

Most of us have plenty of Indo corals, specifically torches. Acclimation should be the same as any coral, Float the bag in the tank to temp acclimate. Go through your dip protocol and quarantine if you do that for corals. If no quarantine then after dip and inspection, add to tank.
Thanks just didn’t know since it’s almost a 20 degree diff. And Go Bucs btw

Once corals are shipped the temps in the bag often dip far lower than normal. That coral probably hasnt been in a stable temp since it was collected. So dont worry.

I also have multiple indo corals but purchased in USA which would mean almost all have been in 76-81 degrees Fahrenheit depending on what or who
