What would be the best method to acclimate a fish that has been previously quarantined before shipping and has been shipped in copper? Drip acclimate after temperature acclimation or should I just temp acclimate and place is system. Not allowing and bad water into the display. Thank you. I have been told both methods.

I normally buy fish local and not have fish shipped so just wanting advice on best method.

I would follow the acclimation guide the vender gives you. I know Dr Reef strictly says not to drip due to ammonia in the bag increasing when pH increases during a drip.

Other venders want you to drip at a certain rate and others say to add 1/2 cup every blah blah and some said float and release of salinity is within 1 point.

I usually follow what they say in case I need a warrant claim or have issues.
