A Water Change A Day...

Manual drippers for Ca and alk get filled every morning....when I'm good this is when I do my water change too. I usually do the water change first, but there is not a big difference to the numbers if you get it out of order.
No dosers, no other supplements.

I wouldn't automate a water change.. Too many variables to deal with, ATO, Flot switches etc. I would rather have the water pre-made for the week, pump the 5 gallons out and pump 5 gallons in. Done

The idea is five out if seven days a week, but I've even had to slack on that lately. Doing my best.
I did more than 5/7 for quite a while...and since it's the exception instead of the rule the tank hasn't shown any signs of my recent slack.

Is used to do a water change every 3 days and my PH used to drop, so i extended it to one wc every 7 days and everything remained stable at optimum parameters. The corals seemed more happier too. Why is that?

It's pretty strange for pH to drop after a water change - especially if it's to the extent you can notice it in your corals. Did you ever figure out the cause?

i think its because it gives more time for the dosers to kick in unless i manually dose the 2 part right after a water change. i switched salts for more control and i replenish vitamins and supplements

Are you saying you suspect the salt itself is to blame? (Which one?)
pH is usually associated with CO2 levels...I'm not sure I understand.

I forget where I read the article, but different brands of salt mix up at different pH. Some are very high, I think around 8.6 or 8.7 was the high end. On the low end, I don't think it was below 8.0, but I can't recall.
