You are going to love that skimmer. I have a 840 v1.5 with a red needle wheel and love it.

I cant wait to use it, its my fisrt real skimmer. I have the red needle wheel as well and i believe a large Atb purple one is installed. Ill play around and see which works best.

Same here.
In the past I have used MRC I & II, ETS skimmer, H&S but this has to be one of the best skimmer I have ever used.
I have mine with the red wheel at 6.5 inches of water and this is how I have it dialed in.

Updates: Sump is finished along with all plumbing. The light rack was painted today. I should have the light hung and be able to start filling her up tomorrow!!
