Few more in the evening blues, no filter:
Im fixin to let the GSP run wild in this tank
Can't forget about the new torch:
My Avast autofeeder just arrived yesterday! I'm excited to get it up and going, but it's going to have to wait until my noopsych's light shows up since I'll need to take the top off my biocube to install it.Sunday morning update!
Ophelia the White Tail is settling in great and seems like plenty of room in the 4' tank. Man, she gonna clear some algae. The Melanurus is over her initial flashing, she gets/got some fading on her back when stressed as well and that is gone, all good
5g WC yesterday, overdue, 14 days since the tank move. Planning another 5g within the week. Took a few pics of the new torch with flow off:
Maintenance on the Avast auto feeder, one lesson with the cannonball cover you need to leave enough gap for air flow or you can grow mold. I left some gap but noticed a little mold yesterday, got that outta there immediately and cannonball is off for now. I may modify it by cutting some slots for more air flow.
These (at least this version), which I bought ~ Dec 2022, 9 months, also use some zip ties around the upper auger as I'll call it to agitate the food for the lower auger to pick up, they can get loose and need tightening or you can jam. May swap these for a little bigger / more firm as well, easy modification.
Also putty'd the frogspawn in place as it took a tumble the night prior.. Got more corals to glue soon, right now waiting for them all to settle a bit from the move.
Lights up to 30%. The max I ran them prior was 34%, will bump back up there in a week or so.
Next up, planning to frag some GSP and try for a grass roof over the right side. Love GSP. Hehe.
So do the clowns
