How do you like the Power on the Stihl BR800? I have the 450 and 600, and love how the 6 Rips…
Burns gas like a V8 though.

Absolutely, absolutely, love the BR800. I go through a lot of yard equipment here, and this thing is a beast. Fuel to work ratio has my blessing. I had a second hand 600 for a number (10?) of years and upgraded 2 seasons ago.

Do it.

Time for a little update, 5g / 15% WC today, no additional algae removal. I have bubble algae congregating on power heads and heaters but GHA isn't flaring back up! Cleaning crew additions have been removing the scraps as well. Bought a backup electric toothbrush just in case though ;)

FTS today, its been 8+ days since the 3, 5gal WC w/electric toothbrush runs. And all new corals happy after 12 days:

This guy, seen here super excited to have found a tuft of mobile GHA (growing on an Astraea I haven't cleaned):

Dog Tank, not so interesting in the fish tank, more so with the wood stove with a little snow today.

despite hours of hosting videos my clowns seem a few cards short of a full deck. They're still hosting the front left corner. I saw your order! Thanks for the tip! Will get it going!

I tell ya, it's much nicer to spend the fish tank room time hanging out and taking pictures rather than on algae removal..

Pistol Shrimp and YWG, seen here knowing I've all but dedicated this Pagoda Cup Coral to them.. I blow it off almost daily, they love its base for a front door though (got it glued to a loose rock which shrimp moved over there).

Trying to get a few half-decent pics of the fish in here.. Mocha Storm Clown:

Melanurus Wrasse is a PITA to get a good shot of, dude is always on the move.

Of course he only decides to pose in front of 1 of 2 black Tubastraeas that have been STN-ing (or something of the sort). They're having the hardest time of all corals settling in from the tank move :/

Goni time! This guy needs a forever home on a low rock, working on that shortly here.

Royal Gramma and them clowns, with my Stalker Blenny (Blennious Stalkious):

Been trying to catch a pic of the Royal Gramma bullying the wrasse, she'll boot him from anywhere she wants to be regularly.

FYI, Mel is a dudette I'm pretty sure. Not that it matters, she's still beautiful!

I should add, I haven't done any actual research on sexing the crew :face-in-clouds:

Eye spot and face are the main "tells" on her. Either a Juvi or female.

Roger that! Not sure how long they are considered Juvi for, this one has been in the tank about 10 months (6/29/22), she was smaller (but not tiny) when we picked her up from the LFS then. A year old or so is my estimate..

I think they're Juvenile until they decide to transition to a male or become a breedable female? Not sure. From my understanding they can transition anytime during their life.

I've had mine for a few months. She was fairly large when I got her and now is probably close to full grown (5"-6"). She has just recently started transitioning. The lines on her face are starting to twist , she's vertical stripes on her side, and the eye spots on her fin are fading.
