This bag with metal zip is not the best idea to use in marine tank. This metal could react with sea water. Who knows what will enter into your tank water

You run Siporax for 3 years - did you run it in an anaerobic environment or was it mostly aerobic?

I saw in your test results that you had a silicon level of about 68 micrograms / l. I suppose you run it mostly aerobic because my experiences with siporax in anaerobic conditions is an effective media for denitrification but I get high levels of silicon in the water.

@Lasse You're right it's in an aerobic enviroment. It's used in a cage made of eggcrate with a very high water flow thrugh the media and to keep it clean from detritus I was shaking the cage everyday.
