Bonus 7: I read about Phytoplankton, and I am still new to everything only been in the hobby since 2022, I once attempted colonizing phyto and cope pods and failed miserably so I really wanted to read about it as the assignment for this bonus, and I actually did not know a lot of that info. From actually consuming the nitrate and phosphates, as I always assumed they were just food for cope pods- and also I work for a municipality but not for the sewage part and I found this to be the coolest thing to read about- maybe I will have a one up on the old timers possibly from learning this -"phytoplankton are sometimes utilized at municipal water treatment facilities to remove primary nutrients from sewage and wastewater".. and overall just sounds like a must as it also combats most algae you would most likely run into.
