Same here, it is definitely the nicest acan in my collection. I think I currently have 10-12 heads. My picture doesn't do it justice.

Mine has morphed color a little bit too. But, it has survived multiple assassination attempts by myself and other corals. I lost half of it one time after my green slimer laid on top of it for a couple of days while I was out of town.
I lost another chunk of it after a heater malfunction in that JBJ 20 frag tank.

What are the odds that any new growth will grow back in its original coloration?

Wow thread necromancy.;P I am glad though, as I am seeing it for the first time. That's a gorgeous looking tank. I love the stand it looks like a quality piece of furniture.

The BTA stayed up there about three months before going for a walk. I removed and sold.

The tank has gone through a lot of changes since those pics were taken. Never really figured out what happen, maybe a infection. Whatever it was it wiped out every LPS in the tank over a course of month. I would dip a colony and it would look ok for a week and then quickly go back down hill. I mostly have Softies, Zoas, and NPS now.
