Hi all-

It's been a while since I shared anything - so I thought I'd post a few quick cell pics of my 65 gallon Mixed Reef.

I'd been experimenting with carbon dosing and trying to keep an ULNS over the summer - and ended up losing quite a few acro colonies when my NO3 and PO4 bottomed out. A bummer but a learning experience. Things have been rebounding though the last few months, and I've been working to restart/rebuild by stick collection.

System is a year and a half old.

is that before or after you lost alot? I have never had to worry about my nitrates being too low. Those pics are nice man. Where did you come across those suction cup frag holders.

After. I got the first frag tree from a vendor at a swap. Picked the 2nd one up on eBay - you can find them there.

Gorgeous tank you have there Eric! I love your aquascaping! I can't imagine how it looked before you lost all the stuff! The tank looks way more mature than just 1.5 years. Whatever it is you're doing, keep it up cos you're obviously doing a fantastic job!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Chris - that's disturbing and hilarious :D

Andrew B - I use filter floss, an oversized protein skimmer, and a dual media reactor running GFO and Rox Carbon.

BlueDevil - thanks, aquascaping is one of my favorite things about the hobby. I've learned a lot from this build and can't wait to try some different things on the next tank.

Rob - appreciate it. And yes - it's a 36x18x24. I really wish it was deeper. I've learned that 18 inches isn't much room to work with when you want to incorporate depth in your layout.

Shaun - check out this link for the frag tree: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thrive-Aqua...608879?hash=item27f023e56f:g:SPMAAMXQC-tTA7m~

JmcDaniel0, Mark75, klesel - thanks for the compliments.

What lights are you running ? Also, I always see tanks with mixed corals all so close to each other, how do you avoid warfare. I feel like I have to space my corals so far apart because anytime they get close there's a war.

Very nice! I now see where all of those frag swap corals are going. Looks like its time to start making frags!

Wasn't too happy with the pics I posted last night so tried to take a few more today. They're still cell pics - but give a little bit better idea of the actual color and texture. I need to break out a real camera to take pics of the tank one day.
