60g cadlight cube sps dominate upgrade

I had a build thread going for my Biocube 16 sps tank and things we going good but the wife let me upgrade so though I would track the new build

Tank: 60g cube Versa II
Sump: 18g cadlight with ato container
Light: aquatic life hybrid 4 blue plus and hydra 26HD
Skimmer: Cadlights 110

Lots of work ahead to still move over all the sps in my frag tank

Off to a good start. I had a tank that size. I would assume you’ll be adding more flow?

Yea I should have included that, for flow I have two sw-4 and adding my ice cap 1k tonight... we will see how if does with that or if I need to add some more... thank you for looking!

Got most of the frags in the tank and got the gyre on the back... tomorrow I’ll get the tank cleaned up and move the heaters in the sump... slowly getting there

Yea I understand that... took a while to get my wife on board ... I wouldn’t mess with your tank as it looks good

Trying to put together a fish stocking list, currently I have 2 clowns and a firefish... but want to add more in the future. So far I want a 6 line wrasse and maybe either some chromis or cardinals... can anyone else recommend any good fish for a bare bottom 60g? I would love a tang or fox face but don’t think they would do well in my size tank

Not much changed in the last 2 weeks except added 4 chromis and decided to change my bulb combo from all blue plus to 2 blue plus, 1 coral plus and 1 purple plus... I like the color this give and my corals seem to be coloring up. also added 2 new sps and some additional dry rock to back

Added a battle corals Brads insane DeFuego... love the polyps on this!

Not much of an update since my last post except I added a BC Spainbow frag and replaced the 2 SW-4 wavemakers with OW-25... can already tell everything likes the increased flow!

Recently added a jabeo UV steralizer to the tank which has helped clear up the water... couple updated growth shots as well

I’m a fan of cube and this looks like a great setup. I cannot wait to see it mature.

Well I ran out of my Red Sea blue bucket salt and decided to switch to reef crystals since I have used it in the past and good results... doing a water change tonight so we will see how everything reacts... also picked up a skimz leopard return pump that brs had on sale that will be installed this weekend... hope it won’t be too much flow but I will post once I get it running!
