Small clean up crew has been added to start on the algae. Hopefully I’ll be adding the first fish when I get back from my backpacking trip next week.

Made it back from backpacking. Tank fully cycled while I was gone. My SBB corals arrived the day after I returned! Got them in the tank and they seem to be doing well so far. Also added a royal gramma that stays hidden right now.

New cleanup crew did the trick, however now I've got a bloom of some kind clouding the water. Did a 10% water change last night and woke up to a dead return pump. I have another one coming tomorrow morning. Critters will have to survive on the wavemaker circulation for a day or so. I have a pump from a skimmer I'm not using, but i have nothing to fit the outlet to my return plumbing, so I took that opportunity to upgrade to a DC pump. Heater is temporarily in the display also as i usually hide my heaters in the sump.

Added a random flow generator from VCA at lunch time, upped the flow on my return pump a little to take advantage, and now I'm twisting valves and adjusting the pump controller like some kind of mad scientist trying to rebalance my return and drain flow.
