I tried everything to rid this reef of aptasia, then I discovered the appetite large angels have for aptasia. My 850 sytem is separted into 3 different tanks. I moved my adult emperor angel from one tank to the next until they were gone, when they reappeared in tanks with out him, I moved my Holo Holo from tank to tank to tank, they disappeared again. as they reappeared, I moved my French angel from tank to tank to tank. Guess whet happened ?
Never discount the effectiveness of an adult large Angel in your clean up crew.

I performed this experiment for over a 1 year period. Now, 3 years later, the 850 14' reef is void of any "visible" aptasia.
