Hi all,
I’ve had a bit of a mishap - one of my 6 spot gobies got caught near my overflow. I caught it in time (I hope) while feeding but he’s a bit off now… was swimming up to the surface and gulping and has since found a spot on my mesh at the overflow where he has perched and is still chilling. Not sure if I’m overanalysing but his partner seemed to be breathing a bit heavy and had ‘hiccups’ (for lack of a better word).
Lights out now so don’t want to be shining torches etc excessively.
Any advise??
I’m currently thinking I should try not over think/worry and just leave him be? Assuming the gulping and perching near overflow is for extra oxygen after being stuck a while?
Additionally… I noticed this little guy on one of the corals I bought a few weeks ago - friend or foe? (I dipped corals before adding but somehow this and what I believe to be a brittle star survived. Sorry for blurry pic!)
