@Jeff.:P:. I'm relying on w/c and a skimmer although skimmer just overflows at the moment. I have to modify the w/c system so that's down right now. I have a DOS for this. I like your setup. Subscribed

Your tank looks AMAZING!

If you don't mind, how are you achieving flow in your tank?
Thanks! A single Jebao SLW-3 @100% and the NEWA MN606 return pump. As the acros are filling in Ill likely add another SLW-3

I was a huge fan of my big skimmer when I had a 40g SPS breeder but with the only one fish in this tank its been working great without it. Thanks hope to take some slr camera shots, the iphone doesn't do the tank / acro's justice.

This is easily one of the top 5 most impressive tanks I've ever seen. Please never delete this thread!!

How do you go about your Kalkwasser dosing in this system? I know the rear filtration is quite cramped. Maybe I didn't see, but are you running an InTank Media Basket?

Thanks Nick! I wont! Ive been putting 1.25 tsp of Kalkwasser in my ATO. Up to this week it has kept my ALK stable but the growth has been aggressive and dropped ALK to 6.2. The ocean water around here is around 7.0 so I'm increasing my Kalkwasser to 2 tsp, then ultimately will need to dose ALK. I do have a media basket but only use a bag of carbon that I replace every couple months.

Literally water from the ocean? You get a bucket and scoop water from the actual ocean?
Thats it, should’ve disclosed that I live in Puerto Rico! Typically from the beach and sometimes off a boat. Some of local waters

Do you have to clean your ATO container often? and how often do you mix in 1.25 teaspoons of Kalk? And do you use a stirrer in the ATO?

I just cleaned it for the first time in 6 months as the sediment was block the pump. The ATO container (1g) empties within about a week , so each time its does I replace with RODI and 1.25 tsp. I typically check alk every 2 weeks make sure its enough. No stirrer.

Awesome, love how simple it is. One more thing, where do you get your kalkwasser and how do you mix it into your ATO?
