50 cube

Hey guys, just want to post my 50 cube up real quick. I purchased it at one of my LFS. It's a brand new tank so there's not much in it right now. I've got a few sps frags, some zoas, a couple lps, a clam, 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 domino damsel, 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 diamond goby, a tiger pistol shrimp, and various CUC guys.

I'll be throwing more stuff in it slowly but surely so I'll try to update as much as I can.

Nice tank. Tell us about what equipment you are running on it. Some pics of the sump would be nice too if you are running one. I like to see and steal ideas from people on how they set theirs up.

Thanks! I'm running a rio 1700 return pump, an sc aquariums skimmer(forget the name but I know it's the smallest one they make), a koralia 1050gph powerhead, and a 250w 20k mh. Don't know what brand fixture but the bulb is coralife. I'm def. planning on upgrading all of this but it works for now. I'll post more pics up in a bit.

Ok here's my sump. I ordered a fuge pack from reefs2go.com. (awesome website btw) it came with a bunch of pods and some various macro algaes. This was my first fuge and I've got to say that I love it! All levels at 0! I've never had all levels at 0 lol so I guess it's doing it's job

And there's a pic of the skimmer lid if anyone is wondering what it is. I've heard nothing but good things about this company and I'll report that this thing has been working great for me. Pulls out dark coffee, just the way I like it

Sorry for the terrible pics. I'm still in the stoneage using the iPhone 3GS haha. If anyone can tell me what corals I have I'd appreciate it lol cuz I sure don't know what the heck any of them are! Greenbay packers is one of the zoas I think?

Forgot to mention its rimless but you can see by the pics obviously...here's some pics from when I was setting it up. You can see the light fixture I hung from a custom light rod I installed.

Nice. I couldn't find a cube sump that I liked but that one looks great. The skimmer does appear to be doing a great job.

Ya it's pretty cool. I found online that they sell this exact setup, sump, skimmer, return and all. Pretty good deal for what it is. Glass is starphire too.
