Not sure which thread you had in mind, but there seems to be several. Here are the links to a few:

Neither of these address my question and one is a link to this very thread.

Ive been searching but haven't found it. Must be on another reef keeping forum. Ill just dump 5 gallons in at antime, and mark along the way. But i was really hoping to get proper measurements.

Yall could have filled up some gallon containers and marked the can yourselves by now lol!
I’m just looking to save a step mate. If someone would just post their measurements we could all skip that tedious step, what is it like some sort of right of passage?

totally clowning around here but also like a little serious.

Ok so here’s what I came up with.

Brute 44G

First 5G- About 4 7/8”

Then the spread for every 5 G up to the 30 G mark is 3 1/2”, or 7” for 10 G.

There now this should be a searchable topic for us slackers out there.

I have a super dirty tape it’s not touching the inside. I shined a light through to the water line after pouring in measured amounts. I’d be surprised if someone found these to be off much.
