What's up R2R, I've got a 40 gallon breeder macroalgae tank that I'm looking to add some more fish to but I don't know where to start. Current stocking is
- False Lemonpeel Angel
- Young Gramma Brazilensis
- Twin Spot Goby
- Various hermits, snails, and other small creatures

What I'm looking for
- Under 100 dollars and relatively easy to source
- Unique in some way/shape/form. This can be coloration, behaviorisms, or whatever. Just has to be something a bit out of the ordinary
- Bonus points for cool coloration

What I don't want
- Any kind of scorpionfish
- Chromis/Damsels
- Cardinals
- Mainly yellow
- Will eat macroalgae

I'll throw a couple thoughts out there!

I'm more of a coral guy, but thought about setting up a Macroalgae tank myself.

If I set one up, I would add:
- Mandarin Dragonet
- Dwarf Seahorse
- Goby/Pistol Shrimp Pair
- Mystery or Leopard Wrasse

And with the fast nutrient export, I would also add non-photosynthetic coral like Gorgonians and some Sun Coral.

Since macro algae tanks are typically low flow you can do a lot of cool small fish. And since they maintain pods well, you can do a Mandarin or two once everything is settled in!

Enjoy your tank! Now I'm thinking of setting one up!
