In today’s video we are following the team to an installation we completed up in Georgia! From tank prep in Orlando to the finalized and flowing tank in the 100 year old home, follow along as we show off everything it takes to install this 350 gallon home aquarium!

How is that floor supporting that size of a tank? A 100 year old house wasn't built for that. Did they reinforce the floor joists?

I once had a 8' 240 gal. in a older house was not 100 yeas old but maybe 70?

it's prob. built better than today's homes...but yes its an issue for sure.
off to watch the video maybe they talk about it...

that giff hits home real hard. bough a fixer upper ended up doing 90% rebuild 1.5 year reno and spent more that we paid for the house. uggg

I agree that old houses have many perks over new but no house was designed back then to hold nearly two tons. I watched the video, it's a nice old house. They did not get into floor joist support so I guess we will all just cross our fingers and wish them well.
I work in construction and I have done more than my share of historic restoration. @Devaji I feel your pain. The cost to renovate can easily spiral our of control. For the right house though... worth it.
