I think you will both be happy with it I know I am. It's worth upgrading the filtration to a in tank media basket i just added the fuge basket to it and its helped a lot
Love the rock work, I think me and my wife both have finally decided on a tank that were gonna go with and itll most likely be the 32Biocube. looks good.

Agree, you can check out my build in signature. I did my rocks several times and having a 2 inch channel in the back was key in the end. I also think making 2 small islands in those tanks looks sweet. My biggest advice, mess with the rocks now and get them the way you like. It is much more difficult and harmful to do it after adding livestock, like I did...
Also not sure what return pump you have but upgrading it is an awesome investment. The MJ1200 is good, i just ordered the Sicce 1.5 which I think is the best option. I also got the random flow nozzle which creates a nice random pattern on the return
setting up my biocube this week. So you replaced the stock pump? What mfg did you go with and why it I might ask

Some new updates been a while but tank has changed a lot since. Even survived a move... here's some of the things thats been going on

Removed the full basket couldn't get the water to circulate right in the back chamber so the chateo was just dying. Been running chemi pure elite and seachem phosgaurd was still having issues with phos and nitrate so I added a tunze 9001 and hair alge disappeared in less then a week. Upgraded the ato to a Tunze Osmolator Nano 3152. Added a trigger 5g crystal ato reservoir. My alk and ph was low so I started adding kalwasser in the ato. It brought it up a little but I'm still struggling with that, other then that ever thing has been running smooth. A while back I had an issue with my light, didn't realize that they weren't on when I was at work so I ended up losing the torch hammer and the rainbow nem. As of now I have added gsp, ultra ricordea, a new torch, galaxea, xenia, and a acid washed bta. I tried a new rainbow after the first one died the clowns loved it but it didn't make it now the new bta is a little to small for them and their not interested it in hopefully in time they will take to it. I also added a cardinal fish, a yellow eye kole tang, and a pom pom crab. Here's a few pics of the new rock work and livestock.
