QUESTION OF THE DAY - Water Movers: What powerheads are you using and are you happy with them?

So many options...trying to weigh mine...I have a hexagon tank and don’t want to create a funnel. But I definitely need two heads. One side collects more debris than the other and in the market for an upgrade. Not too powerful but controllable.

What to do about sudden fright syndrome?

I lost my entire batch of clownfish last time to SFS (I turned on the light, they started jerking around, and were dead the next morning). I was feeding them rotifers. How do I prevent this? Is there a way to cure them while they're having the "seizure"?

Don't skimp on the tank. It's easy to swap out a skimmer or a reactor or a light. Realizing you have the wrong tank is a costly and more difficult problem to fix. Could be like mine where the tank wasn't reef ready, or it could be that your tank is too small for the fish you'd like to keep...
