Newly cycled 16 gallon Biocube tank. It has a protein skimmer, refugium w/ mixed copepod blend, chaeto algae, proper full spectrum light, and a UV sterilizer. I have had larger saltwater and freshwater aquariums before but wanted a more compact/considerably down sized system and always desired a Biocube style tank. It has been over a month since this system as been running and has fully cycled which was established with Nature’s Ocean Aragonite live sand, and Dr. Tim’s live nitrifying bacteria. It would be nice to win one of the packages to be able to add more life, color, and texture to this pretty amazing setup. It’s not the fanciest or the most money can buy but it’s convenient, easy to maintain, and I think it looks sleek and all of the equipment is from the same brand as the tank itself which is Coralife. Everything runs and functions efficiently.
