Theoretically there is Magnesium in AFR but not much. Here is the official DYI AFR recipe from TM and you can see there is almost none per 1litre.

Unless TM substantially changed the formulation you will not get significant boost in Mg from AFR.

But it is there.
Sorry I should've said its also got a dash of magnesium as well.

But thank you for the recipe.. when I start back dosing AFR myself I'm going to have to check and see how much it changes my magnesium just out of curiosity.

Now now maybe some of them but not all of them.

I won't doubt you but there's some slow growers in the bunch. I can say they are Infact going very well and your tank is very very mature for sure.

Now be honest, your largest single colony, how many polyps were on it when you started? I can't call you on it, but to have growth like that from a 3-4 polyps is very few and far between.
See my build thread. Tank started in December and some were 18-20 heads and many have seen progress. Im not going to subject myself with interrogation and doubts, Been doing this a Long time - Over 4 decades and I feed regularly, use Orphek lighting and daily water changes as part of my regimen.
Follow the pages and you will see the progress. Tank is at 9 months and began with few coral

Ok now I didn't interrogate you, nor doubt you. Maybe re-read my post and you'll see where I was going with it.

Now for me to be on the offense I feel like you didn't care for my post and jumped on me over what I asked.. have you never been with a friend and shot the bull with them before and have them in disbelief over something of yours, and you tell them Whatever your speaking about... And your buddy says oh come on you can't be serious? Well that's exactly what I was doing! I wasn't doubting you, nor was I interrogating you. I need to mention the normal person isn't going to see growth like that in 9 months from a three-head zoa. So when you say 9 months, 20 polyp frags, well thank you very much for being more informative... We could have avoided that all together just by answering that one simple question.. When people buy frags these days it's pretty hard to find places that sell those sizes.

As for you who's been in the hobby for all these decades you're pretty vague on giving any type of information. All I ever see is posts with no direction on your end. It's like you just post and say this is okay and that is okay but we all know that every system is different.

You know everybody needs a mentor in the hobby to succeed and I personally asked you, but you reacted like you weren't even interested so I just left it alone. It's kind of a good thing because I've actually found two reputable well-established people that actually have the time and patience to answer just a few questions here and there, and basically guide them in a straight line when it looks like they're veering slightly off course.

Anyways I'm done with my rant and PLEASE don't take offense because I mean no disrespect whatsoever.
