2x ai prime vs 1 prime and 2 blades

I am just changing over to a 2ft cube tank. I currently have 1 ai prime that will be moving over from my old tank when I have replaced the lens and I’m looking at getting a second light for this tank.

I’ve not got any experience with the ai blade so was wondering peoples opinion on it, I can get 2 ai blades for just over the price of a second prime. I have a mixed reef tank with some sps but mostly lps and some anemones

You’ll probably be happier with the added blades for coverage.

The 2 blades will give you a lot more even coverage, and the option for a lot more PAR. I would think it would give you a lot of flexibility as your tank matures.

Agree with above. A 2 foot cube is a bit "challenging" to light , getting the spread right requires some more thought!
