Hey! So I have a 25gallon im lagoon ( not a Aio)
Currently have two clowns ( maybe bonded )
Two dragonets

Trying to see what other fish would work for my tank

I’m looking at cardinals
Smaller angelfish ( I have a 50 gallon I can move her to once she’s too big )

Open to other ideas

How many more fish you think I could add before it being too much
5 fish for that size tank, 6 is possible if stocked right, but it will be a high bioload so have good filtration and keep an eye on the water nutrients, do more water changes.

I should’ve specified ones that would eat through my pod population for my sized tank
There's not enough pod production in a tank that size to feed one dragonet, let alone two, so I'm not sure more competition is going to make a huge difference.

As for number of fish, that depends on the species. I think the clown goby is a good suggestion (though they're not always the hardiest of fish) , and putting six of them in there wouldn't amount to much in the way of bioload or space usage. I don't think even one royal gramma is a good idea, from the POV of possible antagonistic behavior. They do like an area of personal space that a 25g might barely accommodate, but they can get pretty ****y when other fish get in their space.

I don't think a dwarf angel is a great idea. They're pretty active regardless of whether they're a younger animal or an adult, and the smallest species are the most punchy.

That's a small tank. Think nano fish.
