I have a gallon cube now. Looking to upgrade to 60 or 90. I like the 90 just afraid the 30" may be too deep. Any thoughts?

I would say if you were wanting to go 90 gallons, might as well go 120 gallons. With the right setup, you would only need to perform 5% water changes. That would only be 6 gallons of water.

Deep blue and Starfire makes one that is 24" high. 30" is fine but would be a little more difficult to get light penetration. Especially with a mixed reef.

Might look into it. I really want to stay with a cube. I think the space it's going to limit on what I do.

Oooh I gotcha! I didn't realize a cube was a factor.

In that case I would look into a more focused lighting. 60-90 degree light spread.

Check out SCA aquariums. You can get them on Amazon. I've previously had the 50g cube and just recently bought the 66g tank. They're starfire and you can buy the complete package or just the tank.
