Hello all just wanted to share my build thread of my 225 peninsula reef tank!!
It started last year I got a heck of a deal from Steve at acrylichabitats for a 225 acrylic tank no holes. So I pulled the trigger and had him build the tank. Glad I did very good builder.

Are you adding holes yourself? Beautiful tank, nice thick acrylic. Looking forward to seeing where you go with it!

So let’s back up a minute so you know how I got here with a 225. Lol. I started with a 40 breeder two years ago it got fill very fast with corals mostly acros. Then it got full had to plumb an 30 breeder to it as a frag tank while I was considering a much bigger build the 225 now we’re caught up. Lol

Lol... I see a natural progression here. Awesome thread, I'm sort of headed in your direction. Went from a 14g to a 30g to 100g and now adding a 50g frag tank. You're reminding me that it's okay to have multiple tanks even when my wife shames me :) Good stuff can't wait to see the new one up and running!

Then after glueing and screwing the whole thing together. I attached a 3/4 piece of birch plywood to bottom of stand so sump would have optimal support.

Next the 3/4 birch top to support the tank
and get it as flat as possible. Then routed out for the piping of the drain and returns on top of stand.
