Latest update.... the little reef has been doing well. Things are filling in fast. I've moved some things around and added a couple of frags, but other than that just regular maintenance and watching things grow out.

Fox Flame FINALLY starting to color up. Was a dull turd for months.

Thanks for the compliment! Generally I don't post all that much, mostly to see growth from month to month. I'll try to get some pics of the fish if I can and see how that goes. They can be very shy and hard to capture them just right.

wow, didn't know ocean motions were still a thing. i used one of those back in 2004 on my first 90 gallon.
i think i powered it with a iwaki or panworld pump.

nice tank!

What is the spotted fish in the pic of the clown? I also have a Pygmy hawkfish and yellow stripe possum wrasse. Love them.

Yep, " colt13" nailed it. The spotted one is a (leopard wrasse). Agreed, pygmy hawk and possum are great reef fish especially nano reef fish.

Thanks Jurgenph,
Yeah, I don't think OM is still a thing, but I'm glad they're still around. I wanted to have an absolutely pump free tank, so this was the way to go for me. It's completely maintenance free once it's hooked up an running and with the right pump, the flow is great. One less thing I have to clean.

Beautiful tank indeed!

Do you mind to share your maintenance and feeding schedule?

Hi ramona, thank you.
I keep my maintenance as simple as possible. I do a 4 gallon water change that includes siphoning the gravel once a week. I clean my glass twice a week. I check alkalinity 2-3 times a week to make sure it's stable and also check my two part dosing containers to make sure they're not empty. The tank is skimmerless and pumpless, so no maintenance involved in there. I feed the tank once a day alternating between frozen foods including, (mysis, enriched brine shrimp and PE calanus zooplankton). Usually one cube or less. Once a week I will feed omega marine flake instead of frozen.

Hi all, I haven't posted in quite a while, but wanted to give an update. Over the past few months things have been going pretty well for the most part. At one point I had 30+ frags crammed into this little tank, which at first didn't seem too bad until the growth started. Since that time I've culled and sold off a few pieces myself and I lost about 5 pieces due to a nutrient crash. As of now I've gotten myself down to 19 pieces (still a lot), so we'll see how it goes. For some reason my camera isn't picking up the colors of the large table colony of Crayola Plana that's sitting left of center, but it really is beautiful with shades of turquoise and nice purple tips. At some point I'll get a top down shot of it. Maybe it will show better that way. Here are a few FTS I took tonight. Thanks for looking

Update:
A few weeks ago I came home from work to find my OM flow diverter was no longer diverting flow. I took the unit apart and found the drum that spins and switches the flow back and forth had sheared off into two pieces. I quickly ordered a new drum and meanwhile made a quick "bush fix" and put it back together with super glue thinking it might hold until I received the new part. Well, it worked until I got home from work last night and had flow on only one side. The glue couldn't hold any longer. I knew this was only a temporary fix anyway, but I still haven't gotten the new drum (close to a month now). So going forward my plan is to completely remove the OM diverter and in it's place install an Ecotech Vectra S2 DC pump. I think this will work even better for this tank and free up space and less equipment under the stand. It's already been ordered and should be here in a couple days. I'll only have to tweak the plumbing slightly to get it plumbed in. I'll show some new photos once it's all in.
