Hey everyone,

I have 2 AI prime 16hds I plan on using for my new tank. I do not have access to a par meter, nor do I think I can rent one, so I am in search of settings (and light schedule) that will work for a basic mixed reef (thinking softies and maybe some lps (like zoas, gsp, duncans, that sort of stuff) without requiring a par meter to adjust them if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

I also got the primes since I figured I could take them with me if I were to go to a larger tank in the future.

Well, it would be a guessing game until you found the right height and intensity setting. BRS, last I checked, sold a PAR meter for about $650. If you didn't want to keep it, you had 30 days to return it for a $100 restocking fee. Basically a rental. It was something like that.
