No prob, I’m still in Cozumel but I’ll be back home soon. Unfortunately, my mother nem decided to move and I’m still trying to get her out of an impossibly deep hole in the rocks. I’m gonna try one of those nem tube things when I get back! She’s gettin way too close to my hammer garden and needs to go
No rush, enjoy your vacay. I’ll still be here when you get back lol. Stay safe

Gorgeous... everything! You make it all look so easy. Did you ever get a replacement cherub I was heartbroken when you lost yours he seemed so nice and you reared him from a baby too :(
Considering I set up my tank in sept I’m not looking to where your at for another year.

Avi

Edit: Sorry for that saw you couldn’t replace your baby... personally I wouldn’t put a chalk bass in that tank though there are so many other options filled with way more personality. Perhaps do a pink streak wrasse, royal gramma, or maybe a cute swissgaurd tho that’s just me.

Thanks! I haven’t replaced the cherub, but I’m thinking about having a pair in my 45 gallon (it’s very shallow so it’s a lot of swim space). I like this reef right now, but I need to make some changes too :) I look forward to seeing your tank start to turn the corner and look really beautiful, you just started out but I’m sure that it’s already lovely!

It’s been forever since I did an update! But today is a big day so I’m gonna go ahead and do one. Just to start, here are some progress pics of the tanks that highlight new additions.

New scoly, beautiful pattern and gorgeous turquoise streaks that don’t come out too well in pics.

Went to Florida a month ago and found this guy drying up on the sand. He’s doing great! I spot feed him 3x a week with veggie pellets and mysis, very active and crawls all over the tank.

A dragon soul torch!!! My first really high end torch so I’m just crossing my fingers, praying he does okay, and taking better care of him than I take care of myself.

Some update pics on the rock flower anemones, these are the two that were the easiest to get pics of. Unfortunately, as we all know, anemones have a mind of their own and the rest of them chose less desirable locations for me to see them but I know they’re all there!

Update just kinda on the acan outcrop. Shows my new radioactive trumpet and the growth on my acans pretty well.

Got some yellow polyps, they’re doing amazing but fail to reproduce the yellow color I saw in the original tank. Any suggestions on how to help them?

Just a progress pic on the indo hammers from last update. Doing great!
I want the iron man.

I haven’t updated in a while but here we go! The tank turned a year old last month (yay!) and there’s been so many ups and downs. Right now, I’m a refugee camp for my uncle who lost everything in the recent freeze so here’s some pics of the temporary residents!

And of course, I just HAD to treat the tank for its birthday so I placed a huge order with Zoanthids during their live sale last week! (Was it two weeks ago?) SUPER excited for all of it to come in on Tuesday! Tons of zoas, their new lobo, gonis, and of course another mystery box!

This thread shows how beautiful a non-SPS tank can be IMO!
:D thanks!! I see it, I like it, I want it, and now it’s in the tank lol I’m glad you like my hodgepodge style!
