Yeah I cleaned the canister filter yesterday, and did some tank maintenance today too. Have been having diatoms recently.

You might notice that the arch from day 18 is different from the one from day 55 onward. That's because it fell apart while I was cleaning the tank. I hadn't glued the rocks together. I took most of them and put them in my DIY refugium, and switched them out with a single, large rock that creates an arch with the first rock (from day 1).

You may have noticed that the sand is a little darker. I took a trip to the Atlantic recently and got some sand and water from the shore. As a well as a hitchhiking clam!

Upgraded the tank. Switched to a 17 gal Fzone tank, with clearer glass. Plumbed a sump with a Reef Synergy Shadow v3 overflow. The refugium below is lit up in the photo by a timed light on reverse daylight cycle. The stand is an Imagitarium Preferred Winston Tank Stand. Here are the results:
