Added both of my pumps and now there is so much flow in the tank! I added a Nero 3 and a Maxspect Jump 2k gyre. I absolutely love the way I hid the gyre.

So the acrylic piece attaches securely with just silicone?

Just siliconed it down, then once it cures I will silicone around as an extra layer. Also I did not center it do to the fact that I’ll get more rock out on a side I can view from.

This is a pretty cool setup! Did you leave enough room to clean the back glass or does the aspect of putting the bracket in preclude that?
It will definitely be tough to clean the back glass, but I can get some of it. I’ll be using a magic eraser so I think that will make it a bit easier?

First off I have to say this is pretty amazing. I have never seen this done before. Second I have never cleaned my back glass on any tank :winking-face:

Thank you! But not my idea look up floating reef on YouTube and that was my inspiration! And I might be saying that I’ll clean it but that will most likely last a month

Alas! We are floating, have to clean the bottom of the tank but other than that it’s ready for water. I will hold off on the water since I’ll be on a 2 week vacation.

Side note - I decided I will be switching the light to a Radion XR15 G6 Pro
This looks really nice!

Nice looking scape. Can't wait to see a few things added over next few weeks

My LFS did a floating scape but used magnets glued into back of rock, and magnets on inside of back AIO filter compartment for same effect. I like your idea better

Thank you, I also thought of magnets but was slightly worried that it might leach out something if I didn’t check them often

Small update!

This tank is chugging along, had a point where bryposis started to grow but my two mithrax crabs took care of it instantly. Now I’m just waiting around. I most likely will start with some easy sps soon and go from there but first I was to solve an issue I’m having. The water for some reason seems cloudy and it’s been cloudy for 2 weeks now. Any suggestions on what could be going on?
