I'm nearing completion on my 150 build. This tank was set up to help my wife unwind and decompress after work. She works for the State of Illinois Veterans Home so I'm sure there's a ton of stress. The tank will be a mixed reef with 150 lbs of live rock from TBS. I'd like to include some working fish to help with pests if they show up. The only must have fish will be a pair of Flame or Maroon clowns,a couple wrasse, and a Tomini tang if the tank will support that. Other than the above mentioned I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

What order would you reccomend adding the fish? I know some can be aggressive twords new additions.

If you have a sand bottom a diamond goby keeps the sand looking like new

i didn’t even think of it but yeah definitely a fox face if you like them, great personality… and if you have the cash, a gem tang and a yellow tang if you add at the same time would be sweet (in my opinion) instead of purple tang since you’re already going with the tomini and purples can be real assh*les

I know the blue hippo tang is predictable or almost cliche to us hobbyists, but that’s the very reason having one is great. “Dory” is the first fish your house guests will notice and its always a hit with kids.

Wife needs less stress. Having any fish that are likely to get sick/die won't make less stress. Hepatus tang isn't such a good bet for that.

+1 on one of the hardier Centropyge angels. A nice coral beauty can be a fabulous looking fish.

I think I've narrowed my choices down to the following
Fire Clownfish pair
Whitetail Bristletooth or Kole tang
Yellow tang
Six line wrasse
Vroliks wrasse
Flame angel
Bicolor blenny
Yellow coris wrasse
And possibly a watchman goby
Inverts will be various snails, shrimp, and a tuxedo urchin, and maybe a brittle star.
