Thanks for checking out my ad.
I am selling starter packs of Macro Algae. These are trimmings. Pictured are the approximate sizes that would be shipped (There is also a picture of a large chunk of hypnea, that is just for reference). I find the best way to get started with keeping macro algae is to keep a variety of species to see what does best.
Algae gets labelled and packaged individually in heat sealed bags with water. I find this is the best way to ship algae.
I ship via USPS Priority Mail in an Insulated box with a minimum of 1/2 inch Styrofoam. Heat pack or cool pack included as necessary. If your temperatures are too low or high, The package will need to be held at your local USPS Hub for pick up. It is a lot easier for me to ship in colder weather than very hot. If your highs are 85 or above, the package will need to be held for pickup.
