DAILY QUESTION: What are factors that you consider important when choosing a reef light? Why did you choose the light that you are currently using on your reef tank?

Power, Controllability. utility, spectrum, coverage, price. I chose my current light for those same reasons but mostly I needed affordable coverage for 28x28x24" tank and it outperforms the high priced "name brand" guys for half the cost.

DAILY QUESTION: How does the Sun & Moon Synchronization feature of the Natura iCon benefit your reef tank?

I believe fish and corals benefit from a natural cycle including flow, light, temp changes, moon phase, all these are known to influence them in nature. I have been breeding fish for years some will breed no matter what some you have to play with water chemistry or temp or lighting to encourage it. This could be one step closer to getting that part of the puzzle down. My current light allows moon phase sync and its pretty interesting to see what and how things react in the different "phases" of the moon alone. Wonder what could happen with a full 24hr natural light schedule?

Official entry - I’d like to win the new orphek so I can use it on my 50g aquarium, the more compact size compared to the larger atlantik is more suited to the size of the 50h, and won’t overhang over the edges.

official entry - I love how the Orphek Natura light can simulate my day/night cycle as well as any other day night cycle so for example I could set my tank to be in line with Fiji's sunrise and sunset and that is a feature that I would love to have on my reef tank!
