The only down really was figuring out that a lot of my old equipment was not worth having saved! I had a tank about 18 years ago, and kept most of the equipment. But wow, how far the hobby has come since then. Lots of ups! This my first time with corals, and so far so good! I would say getting automated equipment is a a big upside.Looking good, can't wait for my tank to mature.
What was your ups and downs for the first year?
I agree. First time around I did everything manually gave up after 1 year. But now I'm back and everything is automated and I love it.The only down really was figuring out that a lot of my old equipment was not worth having saved! Very nice!!Looks like you’ve made some great progress.
I’m right at one year as well. First pic is around October 23, second is September 24.
Yes it is!! THank you.Looks great! It’s so nice to see a tank turn into what you pictured from the beginning as you were looking at it empty with bare rocks.
