He doesn't have sps for now, only lps and softies, the light may be a problem but there are some perfect corals and he has run that lights for years, he runs carbon through a reactorAlk is in the "low" range for some corals (SPS mainly), PO4 is almost 0 (with a +/- 0.03 error margin). SPS may want more. Nitrates are fairly lowish but not bad. Softies probably want more.
Light and flow could be issues?
Also, does he run carbon? Potentially there could be sorry warfare (Toadstools and Leathers as well as some sponges release toxins into the water column to affect neighboring corals). Carbon helps limit these toxins.
Is his water dirty looking? Super clean looking? Clean, clear water means more direct feeding might be necessary.
