I know they are a bit risky but the sand gets worse every day. I don't know what else CUC can help me with the sand.
Will improve with time, patience, nutrients.

When I started my tank about 10 years ago, I bought 4 turbos, 3 pointy snails and 4 good looking smaller yet sexy snails.
I'm bad with names.
I have 3 turbos and 3 pointys still, they're now 10 years old.

Cerith snails and a diamond watchman goby or wait, have you ever heard of a twin spot goby, I think Tim used to have one? Both great at keeping the sand sparkling white.

I went to an LFS today looking for one because I heard that Tim had one but no luck. I don't know if I can go tomorrow because I have work tomorrow. If I can, I'll go, if not, on Sunday.

It's been 6 days since I last saw the cleaner wrasse, the only hope I have is that I haven't seen the body but I think I lost it and I don't know why, things with the corals are going great but losing the fish and now that sand is getting worse has me worried and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Sometimes you get a fish that is already on the decline but it might not show yet on the outside. I’ve had cleaner wrasses decades ago, loved them but I can’t remember if they were shy for a week or two. Give it a little time. That looks like diatoms on the sand, they will go away on their own but your new cuc should speed it up. Patience young jedi.

I've been doing this for less time than you have Luis, so take this for what it's worth. The corals survived the transfer and are thriving. They are probably more sensitive to all this because of the unique requirements of corals, so I'd say you did nothing wrong. The fish didn't have to go through all of that so I'd say, not your fault.
As far as the sandbed issue... You are introducing new products and different devices to your system which are no doubt introducing cilicates to your new tank. I personally think that's what you have going on with your sand bed. Diatom bloom probably. Mine was that way for months after I set up my tank. After a little time, a conch, and a lot of pods, my sand looks amazing.
Just my 2 cents brother

Sand would be the conches, ceriths, and nassarius snails.

Thanks John, now I have 2 tiger conch and 3 bottles of pods, hopefully that will fix it, The Biocube 32 that I had was given to me by a friend who had already been through everything bad and maybe that's why I'm nervous about it being my first time

Keep an eye on the 2 Tigers. Not positive they'll fight but just in case. I have had success with a Fighter and a Strawberry/Tiger but I've never had 2 Strawberries survive in the same tank - not sure why though.

Thanks Tim, the ceriths that I had, the blue legs that I had killed them to use their shells, that's why I took out all the blue legs, but now I have 2 tiger conch and 6 nassarius snails, but this weekend I'm looking for more ceriths.

Sounds like a great plan of attack. Definitely keep us updated. I bet we see that sand turn white.

Ceriths are cheap and a favorite of mine. I usually buy 5-10 at a time to keep cleaning glass and sand and to keep the hermits fed and housed. :face-with-tears-of-joy:
