I already moved the tank into position today, I'll do the plumbing in the next few days and it's ready to cycle, any recommendations?

You going with live sand? Live Rock? Moving everything or leaving everything?

I got live sand and dead sand and old sand and mixed them all together. All my rock was old, dead, dry rock or brand new made Aragocrete rock. I did a 10 gallon water change on the old tank and that was the first water in my new tank then added water to top the tank off. I used Microbacter 7 and live Nitrifying Bacteria and started adding fish on day 2 or 3. My first corals moved over on day 5 or 6. I mostly skipped the uglies and didn't lose anything that I wasn't already going to lose. All my fish survived, most of my corals started improving.

He's a vampire and since the sun was behind the clouds, he went full bat and went for a little fly through the sky during the waning daylight.

Still trying to figure out what to do, 100% live sand but I don't know yet what rock, I'm thinking of putting a part of the rock I have on the right side and other rocks on the left looking for more height for SPS in the future

So what I do, fill the tank a little below the weirs with water and mix in salt until I have the SG where I need it - leave the sump empty for now.

Next, I decide if I'm putting the rock directly on the glass, on the sand, or with a buffer of some other material between the glass and the rock, place the rock and sand, and circulate for a couple of days until all cloudiness (or at least most) is gone. Then I slowly add mixed saltwater to the tank until I get my sump to the "return pump off" level. Lastly, I turn on the return pump and adjust the flow and set my ATO level. Add some MB7 and nitrifying bacteria, give it a day or two, and add my first fish or 2.

I usually continue adding bacteria and MB7 for a week or so after adding the fish.

CUC starts getting purchased when algae starts appearing. Nassarius come in when the sand starts getting gross.

So I might have a little extra money coming my way and I want to buy some corals but I'm scared. How can I be sure the brown jelly is gone? I'm also thinking about getting some of the flat pieces of rock and doing a bit of rescaping to make more easy places to put coral.

Last of the fish for the 90g arrive soon! Couple of wrasses and a flame angel, always wanted one but was scared of it eating my corals and with only a few shroom hitchhikers and the bta why not. A lot different then adding it to a thriving tank and watching it munch away.
Shipped these to a ups access point about 45 mins away this time and heading out to pick them up. I am the very last delivery on the route and next day deliveries don't show up until 6-8pm. Plus the bouncing down all the rural gravel roads for 10-12 hours in the back of a UPS truck would be horrible for any living thing, I even feel bad for my driver, he is absolutely filthy at the end of the day with all that dust and his truck doors open.
