Well if that is the case, when I had 7 Blue Green Chromis, they still killed each other off one by one, and now I have one left. This is why Anthias people typically want 5+. A trio isn't enough to keep them from singling one out.. in fact, a trio is the magic doom number. You will get one pair, and one outcast.
The best Anthias setup I've seen is a local guy who only keeps one of each species of Anthias. They all get along and shoal / school together because they know they're all Anthias -- But they aren't the same species, so they don't care enough to fight. It's like a tank hack.
Could be just a Damsel thing.
This will be interesting in DT. I will watch the Fish Psychology evolve. Will a dominant DT Alpha fish keep everyone behaving?
In DT there is the Fat Head Sunburst Anthias (quite different), and the Magma Wrasse which is similar color but totally different species.
At least I fatten up the Loner Anthias just over a week before the twosome started picking on him. AGAIN.
In QT they had security and the place to themselves.
I am hoping all 3 huddle for security in DT.
If the Loner Dies, I will at least know I did the best I could to give him a chance.
