hey everyone i just got these guys a week ago and i noticed this white flesh building up on the finger leather, anyone know what could be causing this? also don’t remember seeing it prior to purchase. he has been opening and extending his polyps, though, so i’m not entirely sure what can be...
Hi Guys,
I went to the aquarium store today and the guy gave me couple corals :) I forgot their names, can someone help me? Also, how can I take care of them?
Here is some pictures:
My tank has been running for several months now. A few days ago I added 4 new small clownfish, now I'm going through a mini cycle. So my question about this is, will dosing Seachem Prime daily protect my anemones and corals from the nitrites until the cycle catches up?
I'm a big fan of really all euphyllia in general, but recently I've been really impressed with some of the Indos I've been seeing.
I picked up a really cool frag of an Indo frogspawn I hadn't seen before. Green tips with like a gold mouth.
Anyway, figured I'd post a Frogspawn show off thread...

Hi All,
Just wanted to share some pictures of my aquarium ! I bought a new camera lens and it makes the aquarium pop nicely. I am no photographer and this is my first time taking pics.
Some of these were taken with a 15K and then a 20K, and the close ups were taken with Macro lens.
Thanks...
Can these two coexist with each other or will one try and take out the other?
I wasn't sure since they're both Ricordeas but totally different places in the world.
Hi everyone, so I've found myself kinda in a conundrum and trying to think possible solutions.
So I have a frag rack that I've been using to put corals on while acclimating, but a problem I've found is controlling algae growth on the rack itself. Obviously it's too high for crabs, I stick a...
Background: I have been fascinated with zero edge systems since the mid 2000s. I was working for ORA as a technician in their coral greenhouses. The 1st time I saw the display system they had designed for trade shows, I knew I had to have one of my own one day. Fast forward 15 years later, I was...
I've been wondering about this for sometime now, but what makes certain patterns and colors so rare/expensive? In the terms of zoanthids and palythoas, what makes a certain color morph so special? Or when it comes to acroporas and anacroporas; they look alike but you can find some really pricey...
Any feedback is welcome!
I’ve had a Condy anemone for a few months and he’s been doing great, but every now and again he’ll relocate.
Once I woke up and he was on top of a colony so I’m wondering how long does it typically take for anemone to harm a coral? What’s the proper way to separate the...
Alright guys, I'm getting a little frustrated over dosing and what is going on in my tank.

I’m only keeping LPS and softies right now.
I never find any good deals at my lfs so I’d love to hear your guys thoughts!

One frag remaining of this beautiful Goniopora!
This Goni is the product of a green and red goni placed next to each other. Where the two corals met, the goni began morphing into the frag you see below.
